There
are four west-facing rooms, further connected by double/treble doors.
When opened, the complex of the four rooms offers a magnificent
through-way entertaining space. But these four rooms can also serve
in different way, for example as a main reception, a large dining
room, and two bedrooms. The third bedroom faces east and features a
large, modern en-suite bathroom with open shower. The second bathroom
is accessed from the hall.

The
kitchen is modern, open-plan into the hall, with easy access to the
pantry/store and dining room.
The
apartment feels airy, with high ceilings (3.80m), and beautiful
stuccoes in the two main receptions. All rooms are newly decorated,
but some period paintwork is retained as feature of historical
interest. There are oak parquet floors throughout all rooms, with
elegant floor tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. The original richly
turned doors and windows come with their original brass handles, and
much period stained and decorated glass. Other details include
chandeliers and other period lights and plenty of mirrors - but the
old seamlessly mixes with the new, such as the up-to-date kitchen, or
a stainless-steel shower-jet wall in the main bathroom.

The heating is provided by a gas-fired boiler feeding floor and wall-mounted radiators. The constantly replenishing hot-water-tank provides plenty of hot water with very good pressure. The temperature is controlled by a room thermostat as well as individual thermostatic valves on radiators, and the showers feature own thermostats too.
In addition to the CH radiators, the two bathrooms feature electric underfloor heating.
There are pleanty of electric points in all the rooms.
Apart from the standard equipment (dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge, freezer, gas and electric cookerplates, oven and microwave) there is a wonderful massage shower with wall-mounted jets in one of the bathrooms, bath/shower in the other, and bidet-showers by both lavatories.
The apartment is fitted with computer and satellite network, entryphone and alarm, and alarm sensors for doors and windows.
The
Art Nouveau apartment block as a whole has recently been completely
re-rendered and decorated. Inside is an imposing newly-decorated hall
and stairways, all with fabulous period stuccoes, chandeliers and
stained glass.
The apartment-block cellar is awaiting a major reconstruction - nevertheless we can offer a lock-up space there (cca 10m3)
Unfortunately there is no garage or parking yard within the apartment block. It is possible, however, to get a resident permit to park in the street, or to buy secure parking in the National Theatre underground car-park next door.
The fabric of the apartment is insured against structural damage, but the tenant will need to arrange own insurance for any loss or damage to own property.
The flat is intended for a long term let only (minimum 1 year). It can be rented unfurnished, part-furnished or furnished. Please contact us on admin@czechpropertyrental.com
